I first learned about Reiki energy work from my doctor.

I received my Reiki I attunement from Connie and Rick Vrenios of the Reiki Council in Glen Ellyn.  I continued studying with Connie and Rick and ultimately received my Reiki Master attunement and became an Instructor of Western Reiki.

I originally wanted to learn Reiki to help my husband, who has carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands.  He had surgery on one hand when I first started my journey with Reiki and was told the other hand would need an operation. 

I had such wonderful experiences with Reiki that I wanted to try to help other people beyond my family.

I began studying Reiki-ssage with Connie and Rick Vrenios, who after years of hard work and studying, brought the Reiki-ssage system of healing to fruition, and hold the trademark on it.  I became a certified Reiki-ssage and Reiki-reflex practitioner and opened my practice,Celestial Comfort,  in Ottawa, Illinois.

To date, with the help of Reiki and Reiki-ssage, my husband has not needed the additional surgery.

I have successfully completed all coursework in Massage Therapy from the Sanctuary School of Therapeutic Massage and Energy Medicine, and passed the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.  I am licensed through the State of Illinois to do Massage Therapy, License #227007760.
